Artificial intelligence (AI) holds great potential for both government and society. It can help improve public services and make work processes and the handling of data more efficient. On behalf of the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (BMAS), we supported a network in the field of labour and social administration, bringing together authorities from the entire BMAS portfolio to regularly exchange ideas in dialogue formats on how artificial intelligence can be used responsibly and sustainably to improve administrative processes and efficiency. Together, we have written guidelines aimed at the responsible and human-centred use of AI.
