The digital age is reshaping the forms and organisation of civic engagement and volunteering. But is this also changing our understanding of - and the significance we attach to - the common good? Do we need to rethink and reorganise engagement and volunteering so that action for the common good is sustainable? These and other questions are addressed in the study "Public Welfare in the Digital Age", written in collaboration with the association Digitales Europa e. V. and funded by the German Foundation for Engagement and Volunteering (DSEE).
