Digitalisation and data protection in schools have become a clear focus of education policy in the last two years. What is the status quo in schools and what are the challenges? Our impulse paper provides answers to these questions based on expert interviews with stakeholders in the education sector and presents ten approaches to implementing data protection and strengthening digitalisation in schools. Special consideration is given to the needs of those involved.
