A brochure on new challenges facing the family
Digitalization presents new challenges in every area of life, including family life. This brochure summarizes the results of an expert workshop that iRights.Lab conducted on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Family Affairs in cooperation with the Zentrale Intelligenz Agentur (ZIA), a Berlin-based think tank.
How do families successfully adapt to life in a digital society? How can their quality of life be improved through digitalization? How can digitalization help parents in their quest to harmonize work and family life? These and other key questions were put to the panel of experts invited to an intensive workshop. The aim: develop strategies for living and interacting with digital technologies in a family setting and to derive from this several key points that highlight the need for political action in this arena.
Good Family Life in a Digital Society can be ordered as a booklet from the website of the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth or downloaded as a PDF (approx. 2 MB, German).
