Anne Lammers

Anne Lammers is Project Manager at iRights.Lab. During her studies of history and English in Bielefeld, Salamanca and Berlin she already dealt with digitization issues. She was particularly active in the field of digital humanities and is still interested in the interface between science and digitization. Her doctoral thesis on the history of EU statistics deals with the question of how data influence our perceptions of reality and thus ties in with current questions on big data and blackboxing. At iRights.Lab, Anne Lammers supports the Innovation Office and participates in the project digital // memory for testing digital formats in historical-political education, which is funded by the Foundation EVZ.
